Pleasant atmosphere This restaurant is more of a comfortable atmosphere than an amazing restaurant. The sushi is good, but very pricey. The rolls are about $4 more than my favorite restaurant (which is a longer drive).

"we liked it so much we came back with my husband and son for Mother's Day (the day after Mother's Day). Totally love the complimentary edamame. Sushi was fresh and well made. Only place in the desert, that I know of, which makes FutoMaki. Service is friendly and fast. ..."‎ Lynda S. ‎ - Jun 26, 2011
"Ridonkyalously priced... don't get me , I'm always up for treating myself right and paying a bit extra when I want something exceptional...but damn, I thought this place (based on their yelp reviews) would really be worth trying. I could have got better sushi in the Safeway ..."‎ Jules C. ‎ - Apr 20, 2011

"sushi in the desert Who would have thought to have sushi in Palm Desert! My in-laws took me to Musashi's when I came out to visit and had a great dinner. Their sushi was very fresh, they have a wonderful salmon roll. The staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable."‎ Sheila S. ‎ - Sep 17, 2008

Mixed I love the food here, I always go at least for that...the show can be really entertaining or kinda blah at times. Had a Mai Tai once that knocked me on my a** for the night...so drinks are pretty good. If nothing else folks - go for the early bird special and see what they're all about I love em...hopefully you get a good chef who does a cool show for ya -

I expected more from the Omakase choice than ordinary salmon, tuna, white fish, etc. But I suppose that for a desert-setting & you are craving sushi, Okura will do."‎ RonaldM397833 ‎ - Jan 9, 2010 Full review »
